Hi, i am in Grade 10 and i am 15 years old( I will be 16 when I come to America) and i am interested in experiencing the American culture but due to the fact that in South Africa the new term starts in January, it is quite difficult to become an exchange student as quickly as i would like to and i would probably need to repeat a grade because of the timing. I'm looking for a family that would treat me as part of their also like the idea oftaking part in family activities, I'm very interested in different cultures and experiencing new things, I absolutely love travelling too. I've looked at homestay agencies but they require me to attend a school during my stay which is not what i'm looking for exactly but if necessary I will attend a school for the month that I will be in the US. i will be staying in America for about 4-5 weeks while i make a decision on whether or not i would like to become an exchange student for next year.
